"Gary Hoffman's enthusiasm for life is apparent from the moment he opens his mouth to talk about his latest book, Mighty Miss.  Detailing his remarkable journey…Hoffman finds the silver lining in situations that few of us could.  He has an easy spirit that makes him fun to listen to and presents in an interactive way…"

"In August I was treated to a great presentation at the National Eagle Center: Gary Hoffman and his new book, Mighty Miss.  Gary and his adult son made a canoe trip from Itasca to New Orleans in a 45-day, exciting adventure.  He has a great PPT presentation of the adventure and does limited engagements as he is writing two other books…organizations would benefit from learning about his harrowing experiences on the Mississippi.  This is an older student and adult program."

"It was our pleasure to host you.  Your story is fascinating, and you present the message effectively.  It was one of the highlights of our Rotary year."
